My Saturday splurge today was a nice glass of homemade eggnog!!!
Check out my recipe:
1 egg (because I don’t like it too eggy)
1 c milk
1/2 c heavy cream
1 ts nutmeg
2 ts vanilla (because I love vanilla)
3 tb powdered sugar (more or less to your taste)
1 heaping oz Bushmills (whiskey or brandy are good choices)
Whirl up in the blender and chill. Enjoy topped with freshly grated nutmeg. š Ahhhhh. Nothing says Christmas to me quite like curling up with some Christmas magazines and a cup of this delicious concoction.
