After a very brisk day here at the shore, I broke down and created a new drink to “warm the bones”.
Spiked Candy Corn Hot Chocolate
1 c milk
2 tb of coconut sugar (or sweetener of your choice)
1 heaping tb of cocoa powder
1 oz bourbon or whiskey (rum might work well)
Mix together in a saucepan over low heat until mixed and hot. Put about 6-8 candy corns in your mug and pour the hot chocolate over it. The candy will melt slowly and give you that added Halloween taste.
Now, on to enjoying a good scary movie and cuddle time with my pups!
