Day 227 – easy clean up

I was reading through my latest Women’s Day magazine, going through the mounds of stuff I need to recycle before moving day and I found this great tip for cleaning paint off your hands. Try to rub the area with olive oil and a little baking soda-the paint comes right off! I added a bit of salt for extra exfoliating power and it worked great.

  1. I’ll have to try this whenever I’m painting next. Thanks!

My dad always recommended a mix of dish-washing liquid with sugar to make a scrub. It works really well, but having a soap allergy that makes my hands really sore, I only use it as a last resort.
