Day 10 – Veggie camouflage!

chili 2I promise this won’t turn out to be 365 Days of ways to eat spinach, but seriously, look at this bowl of yummy chili…black beans, navy beans, chili powder, cans of tomatoes, fire roasted chilies, organic ground beef…are you drooling yet?  Well, I bet you didn’t know there’s also about 5 cups of spinach in there!  

This is THE perfect way to sneak veggies into your picky family member’s diet.  Chili!  Make your own fave recipe and then finely chop lots of greens, spinach works perfectly, but kale would work I’m sure.  They will never know if you chop it up fine enough-you really can’t taste it at all over the bold chili flavor!  And you won’t get the noses turned up at the bowl of brussel sprouts or broccoli that you put on the dinner table.

I don’t know why we haven’t done this sooner!  Complete veggie camouflage!
